The Family Nurturing Center

Mission

STRENGTHEN FAMILIES SO THAT CHILDREN CAN LIVE SAFELY AND DEVELOP FULLY IN THEIR PARENTS' CARE; FNC’s purpose is to prevent child maltreatment, break generational patterns of abuse and neglect; reduce the impact of childhood trauma; and support the development of stable, strong families who are able to keep their children safe and thriving at home. We achieve this by focusing on the needs of the whole family and offering the necessary services to keep children safe and families together.

Goals

1.FNC is addressing the Social Determinants of Health by expanding mixed-use, mixed-income, multigenerational housing that includes transitional housing for families exiting from residential treatment.
2.FNC is investing in strengthening our financial portfolio, standardizing internal/external communication systems and seeking to expand our administrative team to include 3 additional positions.
3.FNC is committed to help design and implement a new Child Success Delivery System to ensure every child has an equitable opportunity to succeed, using a two-generation approach.
