Mission

Cat Depot is a feline-only rescue, adoption, and education center dedicated exclusively to helping cats and kittens, enabling us to tailor our care and programs to meet cats’ unique needs. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to save lives, find loving homes, and improve the destiny of homeless cats.

1.Drive higher cat adoptions in 2026 (> 1,289 adoptions) by increasing awareness, engagement, and community support for Cat Depot’s lifesaving work.
2.Strengthen and grow Cat Depot’s volunteer and foster pipeline to support lifesaving operations and kitten season capacity.
3.Position Cat Depot as a trusted leader in feline welfare, education, and best-practice cat sheltering in Sarasota, throughout Florida, and nationally
