MQ Research & Education™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded on the belief that a multidisciplinary and research-based approach to financial planning, education, counseling, and therapeutic processes will guide best practices for fostering economic and personal well-being. To this end, we conduct innovative studies; form fruitful collaborations with researchers, scholars, and practitioners; and provide opportunities for in-depth learning and dialogue. Our goal is to facilitate a greater understanding of both the emotional and practical factors that support achievement of financial acumen and meaningful life goals.

We are dedicated to the exploration of a full range of emotional and practical factors that promote financial and personal well-being. Our goal is to provide financial professionals, counselors, therapists, and educators with the information and insight they need to guide their constituents in building and achieving “true wealth.” As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on research and education, we strive to facilitate the exploration and implementation of an evidence-based approach to financial planning, education, and counseling that engages individuals and empowers them to maximize their resources and live purposeful lives. We believe that self-knowledge is an essential ingredient for motivating and equipping individuals to understand and improve their financial health and life satisfaction.
Goals
- 1.Expand the educational webinars and online courses via our online platform to support the professional development of like-minded financial professionals, counselors, therapists, and educators.
- 2.Continue to engage in innovative research projects that facilitate greater understanding of the emotional and practical factors that support development of financial acumen and meaningful life goals.
- 3.Actively engage financial planners and educators in exploring the true meaning of fiduciary and increasing their advocacy for a client-centered manifestation within the financial planning profession.
