Killer Whale Tales inspires lifelong environmental stewardship for tens of thousands of students across the Pacific Northwest.

Goals

1. 1.For the 2026-2027 school year, our goal is to maintain, or slightly increase, registration numbers and increase per-student hours spent on Killer Whale Tales programming. We will focus on promoting student Conservation Worksheet Completion to empower students to document their household environmental footprint and attempt to reduce their impact.
2. 2.Since our inception in 2004, Killer Whale Tales has been financially supported by NOAA, other government agencies, and local foundations. However, many of the foundations have recently closed or changed their funding priorities, government funds have dried up, and our financial position has become precarious. We must diversify funding sources and replace lost revenue.
