Mission

Cambodian Children's Fund believes that with quality education and leadership, one child has the potential to lift an entire family out of poverty, and a generation of educated children has the power to change a society. By investing in the health, education, and well-being of impoverished children and youth, we are building the skills, confidence, and integrity they need to become leaders of positive change in their communities. We take a holistic, on-the-ground approach to developing integrated yet simple solutions to the complex issues of poverty. We work hand-in-hand with local families to deliver support programs, strengthen self-governance, and grow safe, supportive communities where children can thrive.

Goals

1.Education is a Key - Access to quality education is critical in breaking the generational cycle of poverty. Armed with an education and key leadership skills, we believe that our students will be leaders of change in communities and countries.
2.Removing the barriers - It is not enough to provide free schools. We need to address the barriers to education that keep children out of school. This includes offsetting the loss of earnings from child labor, addressing healthcare needs, and tackling gender inequality.
3.Building a Community - At CCF, we understand that it takes a community to raise a child and to provide children with a nurturing and safe environment, their families must also be supported. By focusing on building a sense of community, we are reinstilling pride and respect for those living in the area.
