MAP envisions a future where the planet's mangroves are biodiverse, and conserved for humanity and all life. We work towards sustainable livelihoods, food security, and climate resilience for coastal communities worldwide, ensuring the preservation of vital coastal ecosystems.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to expand MAP's programs by establishing two long-term, large-scale mangrove restoration projects. These will cover staff costs and expenses through government partnerships, CBEMR training sessions, and regional hubs. We’re committed to this strategy to enhance impact, ensure sustainability, and provide ongoing support for mangrove restoration.
2. 2.Recent improvements in financial, fundraising, administrative, HR, and communications systems have streamlined operations and expanded leadership bandwidth. Outsourcing financial management and social media has enhanced efficiency. Moving forward, we will continue building on these systems to support future growth and increased impact.
3. 3.Our goal is to build financial sustainability by developing a core group of operations funders who will provide sufficient support to retain staff, adjust salaries, and expand the team. We are also focusing on cultivating a network of 20+ program funders knowledgeable about mangroves and doubling our small donor base. These efforts will stabilize our funding and ensure long-term growth and impact.
