TO RESCUE AND REHABILITATE SICK INJURED AND ORPHANED INDIGENOUS WILDLIFE AND RETURN THEM TO THEIR HABITAT WHEN HEALED. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON HOW TO DEAL WITH WILDLIFE

Teaching the world to live with wildlife.

Goals

1.Using our training and expertise, to help expand on wildlife medicine to veterinary and rehabilitation networks over the four counties we serve to prepare for the increasing number of patients we serve.
2.Using data from the 6,000 birds, mammals and reptiles , developing and sharing the most up to date techniques and develop protocols that can also be used in research for veterinary students and biology majors for future publications.
3.As a center with strong ties in the community, The Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida will position itself to aid in policy campaigns and work with public leaders to help with key issues that will directly wildlife as well as the environment.
