THE HOUSTON POLICE FOUNDATION STRIVES TO PROMOTE AWARENESS, ENHANCE SAFETY, AND IMPROVE PERFORMANCE WITHIN THE HOUSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT BY ENCOURAGING CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT AND SUPPORT IN MAKING HOUSTON A SAFER CITY FOR ALL.

Goals

1.Provide Houston Police Officers with equipment, technology and training to better equip them to safely serve the citizens of Houston.
2.Connect individuals and companies with opportunities to support community youth outreach programs such as Greater Houston Police Activities League and the Houston Police Explorers Program.
3.To help provide opportunities for citizens to engage with Houston Police Officers and learn about the different jobs they perform and the equipment needed to be successful.
