Woodstock Farm Sanctuary

Mission

We seek to end animal agriculture by rescuing farmed animals, giving them lifelong care and sanctuary, and educating about the harms of animal farming.

Vision

Woodstock Farm Sanctuary envisions a peaceful world rooted in respect and justice for all living beings.

Goals

1.Maintain highest standards of care for all the animals who call the Sanctuary home. Maintain census of 300-425 full-time resident animals through strategic rescue work. Respond to queries for rescue assistance, connect with other sanctuaries or rescues in our network to help with placement. Provide assistance and collaboration to other sanctuaries, rescues, and advocacy groups
2.Welcome thousands of visitors to the Sanctuary annually for Private Tours, Public Education Tours, and special events. Regularly assess Public Education Programming based on visitor feedback and adjust messaging accordingly. Continue to host volunteers and interns year-round across program areas and increase the total annual number of volunteers and interns annually if resources allow
3.Continue and expand on our far-reaching and strategic Advocacy Campaigns to raise awareness and mobilize individuals on local, statewide, and national animal protection issues. Participate in or lead a minimum of five legislative coalitions annually with introduced legislation and documented progress.
