Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (www.IAVA.org) is the leading post-9/11 veteran empowerment organization (VEO) with the most diverse and rapidly growing membership in America. As a non-profit founded in 2004, IAVA's mission is to connect, unite and empower post-9/11 veterans. <br><br>Since its founding in 2004, IAVA has remained the preeminent organization fighting, and winning, the<br>most important battles in America on behalf of post-9/11 veterans and their families.

2.Remain the leading voice for the post-9/11 veteran community to ensure the general population understands and supports the needs, strengths, and challenges of our nation’s veterans and their families.
3.Hire new staff to enhance our advocacy and peer support programs.
