Mission

TURNING POINTE DONKEY RESCUE, INC. IS A MICHIGAN BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF MINIATURE, STANDARD AND MAMMOTH DONKEYS AND MULE. THROUGH THE RESCUE WE PROMOTE THE HUMANE CARE AND PROPER TRAINING OF THESE LONG EARS. WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE THE PUBLIC WITH BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR TRUE NATURE. OUR EFFORTS WILL BE DIRECTED TOWARDS CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE OWNERS. DONKEYS AND MULES COME TO THE RESCUE FROM A VARIETY OF SITUATIONS. THEY WILL BE MATCHED WITH THE MOST COMPATIBLE, COMPASSIONATE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT.

Vision

WE ASPIRE TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS TO ENCOURAGE COMPASSION FOR THESE SPECIAL ANIMALS AND ANIMALS IN GENERAL AS WELL AS EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES. WE STRIVE TO DEVELOP GRANT PROGRAMS TO KEEP DONKEYS AND MULES IN LOVING HOMES WHO HAVE HIT TEMPORARY HARD TIME TO ASSIST WITH FEEDING, ROUTINE AND EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE, AND CASTRATIONS TO HELP ELIMINATE THE OVERPOPULATION OF DONKEY AND NUMBER OF DONKEYS NEEDING SAFE PLACES TO LAND DUE TO ACCIDENTAL AND OVERBREEDING.
