Vision

Our vision is for every one of the 30,000 towns, villages, and cities in the United States to include local, trained, and certified crisis response canine teams to inspire recovery and resilience, ensuring a healthier, shared future for all.

Goals

1. 1.National Crisis Response Canines aims to invest in its organizational capacity by strengthening operations, developing a fundraising foundation, and recruiting a diverse, skilled board. Currently all-volunteer and self-funded, we work with a board advisor to enhance board efficacy, ensuring sustainable growth and improved impact in serving communities during crises.
2. 2.We are revising our training program to update content, enhance accessibility using leading andragogy practices, and strengthen mentorship support, ensuring high-quality training that prepares teams to effectively serve communities in crisis.
3. 3.National Crisis Response Canines seeks to expand access to programs by updating learning and evaluation models to include more distance-learning opportunities. While fostering connection through mentorship, this approach enables growth in volunteer communities, particularly in areas without certified teams, ensuring broader availability of crisis support.
