Mission

Healing House Kansas City is a substance use disorder recovery organization. Our mission is to enrich the lives and spiritual well-being of all we serve and improve the safety and welfare of our community by equipping each participant with resources to maintain a healthy, self-sufficient, and purposeful life. Healing House operates fifteen recovery homes for people with a diagnosis of substance use disorder; six for women and nine homes for men. We also own three apartment buildings that provide supportive housing for families with small children and for residents who are further along in their recovery journey.

1.Outpatient Treatment Expansion to Non-Residents - will require additional staff members with new responsibilities and skillsets.
2.Acquiring or Building Additional Properties for Recovery Housing - acquisition will impact the financial health of determining the right time to purchase with changing interest rates and prices.
3.Social Enterprises - Consider the right cadence to reevaluate the success of the different social enterprise businesses and identify success metrics to track against.
