Youth Environmental Alliance Inc.

Mission

The Youth Environmental Alliance mission is to deliver education programs and facilitate participation in environmental activities inclusive of diverse persons of all abilities, from the young to the young at heart.

Vision

Youth Environmental Alliance vision is to expand accessibility and increase involvement in environmental stewardship through science, education and engagement demonstrated through local actions with global results.

Goals

1.We currently reach up to 41000 people annually, mainly in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. We have implemented the structure needed to expand operations into Hillsborough and Polk Counties in order to increase access to our empowering programming. We also plan to expand access to more underserved populations in our current service areas.
2.We currently are working on structuring our organization in a way that allows the team to maximize strengths and create more specialized positions. Currently, all administrative staff wears multiple hats inclusive of being primary educators. We would like to streamline operations for clearly defined roles. We also want to provide benefits to staff, an option we currently do not have.
3.We are currently working to expand programming based on client requests. We have taught so many of our programs that clients are asking for more! We are also scaling Project EEASY, expanding it into new areas in South Florida to expand audience and impact.
