Vision

As the leading Latino-serving organization in East Tennessee, Centro Hispano de East Tennessee exists to connect, celebrate, and elevate our community, and we envision an East Tennessee in which all Latino/a/e/x people can thrive culturally, educationally, and economically.

Goals

1. 1.Centro Hispano is sharpening its focus on core programs in education, workforce, and family support, scaling back non-core activities and being more selective about new grant opportunities so we can sustain the programs that are most impactful for our community.
2. 2.Flexible, unrestricted gifts keep our core programs running despite the grant funding landscape, so we are investing in the longterm health of our development department to keep these strong.
3. 3.We are always working to make programming and services more accessible. Whenever funding allows it, we cover childcare and healthy meals/snacks so that caregivers can relax and lean in to learning; we offer transportation help and/or stipends when possible; and we are continually working to spread the word about Centro as East Tennessee's one-stop shop for information, services, and growth.
