OUT Maine's vision is a world where all LGBTQ+ youth feel safe, supported, and valued in their communities, with the freedom to live authentically and thrive across Maine and beyond.

Goals

1. 1.OUT Maine aims to expand its programs to reach more LGBTQ+ youth and families across Maine, emphasizing intersectional identities. By strengthening partnerships with schools and community organizations, we will enhance access to inclusive resources and support, ensuring that all youth have access to safe spaces and essential life skills for resilience and success.
2. 2.OUT Maine aims to enhance organizational capacity by improving financial resources, management practices, and technical skills. This includes diversifying funding, strengthening oversight, and investing in staff development. By building a solid infrastructure, we will improve program delivery and impact, ensuring effective service to LGBTQ+ youth and families while promoting sustainable growth.
3. 3.OUT Maine aims to strengthen our voice in policy discussions and community initiatives by fostering partnerships with stakeholders and leveraging data to inform our advocacy strategies. Through targeted campaigns and public education, we raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth, driving systemic change and promoting inclusive policies that support their well-being and rights.
