US Army Womens Foundation

Mission

The U.S. Army Women's Foundation is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1969. Our mission is to promote public interest in the U.S. Army, and recognize and honor the service of all U.S. Army women, past and present.

Vision

We work to accomplish our mission by honoring, empowering, and connecting today's Army women and Veterans through our professional programs.

Goals

1.We are focusing on seeking out volunteers and new Board members that have the talents that we lacking currently. For example, we would like a volunteer with knowledge on website maintenance to help us update our website, and a Board member with fundraising skills to help increase our donor base.
2.We recently entered into a partnership with The Flag and General Officers' Network in recognition of common values and aligned missions. We realize there are several opportunities for joint endeavors between both parties that will benefit the members of each organization and the community they serve.
3.We are working on refining our e-newsletter and possibly re-branding it to reach a wider audience, as well as cleaning up our website. We have recently established new committees within our Board of Directors to explore new opportunities regarding marketing our programs and events.
