Mission

Old Skool Cafe is a faith-based violence prevention program, providing marketable and transferable employment skills to underserved youth. Our social enterprise restaurant is a hub for youth employment and positive change in the lives of resilient youth.

Vision

When incarcerated youth were asked what they needed to break out of the cycle of incarceration and the life they felt trapped in, the three answers repeatedly heard: Jobs, Family/Community, and Purpose. Old Skool Cafe was intentionally designed as a response to what young people said they needed to turn their lives around and help them heal from the inside out and fulfill the great destiny they were created for.
