Vision

We envision that Indigenous Peoples in Chiapas, Mexico, thrive on their ancestral lands in vibrant communities: • They live with dignity and in harmony with themselves and with Mother Earth. • They realize their potential according to their modes and ways of life to provide sustenance, economic viability, a sense of identity. • They bolster their collective history and cultural heritage within a framework of equity and respect. • Women and girls have freedom to pursue their goals and live fully in equitable relationships and communities.
