Nancy’s Project strives to improve the health and well-being of Monterey County farm worker families by providing food, clothing, household goods and enrichment items.

Goals

1. 1.Nancy’s Project has been delivering food, clothing and household necessities to Monterey County farm worker families since 1971. Those decades of interaction with our farmworker community have taught us what works: ensuring adequate nutrition for growing children and hardworking adults.
2. 2.Nancy's Project has an annual "Great Shoe Giveaway" which provides 1200 pairs of new shoes to the underserved families in the Salinas Valley of California.
3. 3.Nancy's Project hopes to expand its high quality protein purchase program. Each day that we deliver donated food to our five distribution sites we purchase additional high quality protein such as chicken, cheese and eggs.
