Mission

Rayo de Sol works with children, adolescents and adults in 41 vulnerable communities in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, where poverty levels are high and social services are extremely limited.

Vision

Motivated by God's mission in Isaiah 58:1-10, Rayo de Sol envisions communities working together to break the cycles of poverty through improved health and education services and the creation of sustainable economic alternatives.,

Goals

1.Expand Educational Quality, Community Health, Youth in Action and Spiritual Growth programs to five new communities, benefitting more than 1,000 students, teachers and parents.
2.Design and implement an organizational development plan to strengthen key areas of our internal operations and program delivery.
