Mission

Since 2006 Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Inc. (DBA Topfield Equestrian Center) or TEC has been "partnering with horses to empower humans." We provide adaptive and therapeutic equine-assisted activities, including horsepersonship, mounted lessons, and therapy for people with physical, psychological, and developmental disabilities in the Hudson Valley of New York. We use teamwork, encouragement, and compassion to uplift and provide positive, healthy life experiences for our clients by building connection with horses.

2.Topfield has developed a new program called Grounding Resilience in Training (GRIT) including population-specific, professionally facilitated, peer-to-peer support groups.
3.We look forward to training new instructors and expanding access to private, semi-private, and program lessons in the upcoming year.
