Vision

We envision an industry-wide effort where laundry facilities deliver basic needs and services in underserved communities worldwide. This includes offering free laundry services through events like Free Laundry & Literacy Days, providing learning resources for early childhood development, and assisting with disaster relief efforts.

Goals

1. 1.Free Literacy & Laundry Days Increase family stability and literacy engagement by expanding Free Literacy & Laundry Days, measured by number of events, participating laundromats, families served, and children reached annually with free laundry services, books, and caregiver-child literacy activities
2. 2.Increased Access to Free Books for Children Improve early literacy access by distributing free, high-quality books to children in under-resourced communities, measured by total books distributed, children served, and partner sites activated, increasing the number of books in homes and opportunities for daily reading.
3. 3.Disaster Recovery Support community recovery after disasters by deploying LaundryCares relief that provide free laundry services and books, measured by response time, locations activated, families served, and essential services restored to children and caregivers during recovery.
