THE MISSION IS TO ELIMINATE THE STIGMA ASSOCIATED WITH DEPRESSION AND SUICIDE BY PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING NOT ONLY THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF DEPRESSION AMOUNG ADULTS, BUT ALSO THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, THEIR FAMILIES, AND FRIENDS ABOUT THE DISEASE OF DEPRESSION.
