CAC hosted a Community Health Conference. Hemp Conference , and a Business Building Conference.
Musical performances are always free to the public at artist openings, and CAC offered 6 free evening musical performances this year.
CAC publishes a catalog/calendar 4 times per year. It includes events at the Creamery, as well as promoting community events. A monthly newsletter also goes out to the CAC mailing list.
CAC was awarded a certificate for "Voted the Best Art Gallery in Delta County." CAC has had 4 favorable newspaper articles, and 20 positive reviews online.
100% of paid staff are satisfied to be employed by the Creamery Arts Center.
The average dollar price for classes for youth is $10.00. The average dollar price for adult classes is $45.00
CAC is currently developing a grant writer (2018) And we are expecting to be awarded more grants in the future. UPDATE: 9/18. We have just been awarded a grant from Colorado Creative Industries.
This student total is from separate classes being offered.
CAC hosted 19 musical performances by local groups, individuals, including an Otis Taylor concert to benefit the Hotchkiss High School Band program.
!00% of the current board members contribute financially to the Creamery, as well each past Board of Directors.
The Western Slope Hemp Growers Association is newly organized, the Water Sustainability Group, and the Organic Growers Association have all been welcomed by CAC and the community.
CAC has partnered with 4 art groups, the Creative Coalition, 3 local schools, an organic growers association, Farm to Fiddle festival, and the Veterans Art Center.
22 volunteers generously helped CAC this year. 9 pottery artists produced 100 bowls for 2 fundraisers. The website, Facebook, newsletter, emails, cleaning, and yard sale are all done by volunteers.
CAC publishes a quarterly catalog/calendar with a printing of 500 copies. 12 radio spots, 6 newspaper ads.
While this isn't an audience per se, 6400 people visited the gallery in 2017. The concerts are usually well attended, perhaps audiences totaling 700-800 or more in 2017.
Like all non-profits, volunteer hours play a vital role in the success of the Creamery Arts Center.
The combined population of the surrounding communities, Hotchkiss, Paonia, Crawford, Cedaredge and Delta has grown slightly this year. 7336 are senior citizens. 16.8% still live in poverty.
