Vision

Friends of Fisher House will: Assist West Palm Beach VA Fisher House Manager to realize founder Zachary Fisher’s Vision by making military families feel they are special guests of his and Elizabeth at their home - welcomed, understood, appreciated, loved, looked after with no expense spared and surrounded by new friends who are there under similar circumstances experiencing a medical challenge. Guests arrive as strangers and leave as family. and help one another through this stressful time in their lives.

Goals

1. 1.Creating awareness in our community is important for Veterans and donors. We strive to provide veterans and their families information about their benefit to stay at the Fisher House while receiving vital medical care. We are also educating the community on how they can support their neighbors who are experiencing a medical challenge and how they can support the people to whom we owe so much.
2. 2.We will raise funds to build a fully accessible Fisher House that will double the capacity, have an elevator and provide families with everything they need during their stay.
3. 3.We maintain that a family’s love is good medicine. We focus on providing food, fuel cards, transportation, healing arts classes and events to support our brave and their families.
