Advancing the well-being of all members of the community. Homelessness affects every aspect of the life of a community. The saying, "A rising tide floats all boats," perfectly addresses the impact of compassionately reducing homelessness. Businesses, residents, visitors, tourist, and the homeless are all made better.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to create the best multi-service outreach program possible. WCC is only limited by it's resources as to the heights it can rise too. At present we have two full-time teams on the beach. We believe that we will help an additional 500 people per year through expansion of resources and personnel.
2. 2.Approximately 10% of the people we contact accept help with our family reunification program. Our goal is to spread this concept throughout Southern California and beyond. Through WCC counsultations and trainings many Cities, Municipalities, Community Groups, and Government Agencies are now replicating our program. We are talking with people in the L.A. City and County Government at present.
3. 3.Our goal is to help as many people as we can as quickly as possible. Most people do not realize how dangerous it is living out in the open. According to the L.A. County Health Dept and the L.A. Homeless Services Authority, there's a 1 in 30 chance that you will die if you are on the street for one year. The odds of being hurt and harmed are much higher. Safety is what wakes us up everyday.
