TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER, FAMILY STABILITY AND PERMANENT HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN BY MOBILIZING RESOURCES FROM INTERFAITH AND SECULAR COMMUNITIES.

Goals

1.In 2026, Family Promise of Beaufort County will expand prevention services, strengthen Freedom House capacity, and enhance post-shelter support. By increasing financial assistance, case management, and community partnerships, FPBC will help more families achieve and maintain stable housing in Beaufort and Jasper counties.
2.FPBC’s new pilot Shelter Diversion program helps families avoid entering shelter by providing rapid problem-solving, mediation, and limited financial assistance. Through individualized plans and community connections, families are quickly stabilized in safe alternative housing, reducing trauma and preserving scarce shelter resources.
3.FPBC will expand its programs to serve Hampton and Colleton counties, extending homeless prevention, shelter, and post-shelter support. This geographic growth will help more families access stable housing, resources, and case management, bringing FPBC’s model of care to a broader regional community.
