Out Teach

Mission

Out Teach is a national education non-profit built to inspire and prepare today’s elementary students to step into the wonder of science and become the next generation of fearless innovators. Designed by teachers, for teachers, the organization equips thousands of teachers in schools across the US to transform the outdoors into an active learning lab. Out Teach is creating a world where every student – regardless of learning ability, race, zip code, gender, or access to resources – receives hands-on, engaging science education from an early age helping to spark an interest in STEM and leading to increased overall academic achievement.

Goals

1.Improving science instructional practices: At least 75% of teacher participants will demonstrate improved teacher practices.
2.Increasing job satisfaction and teacher retention: At least 85% of teacher participants will report increased job satisfaction.
3.Increasing student engagement and achievement: At least 85% of teacher participants will report that they saw increased student engagement and knowledge.
