Vision

Our vision is a San Diego County where no child ever goes hungry on the weekend — or any day. We envision a community in which every food-insecure child has reliable access to nutritious food, healthy habits, and the opportunity to learn and thrive without the burden of hunger holding them back.

Goals

1. 1.Expand our weekend food bag program to reach more food-insecure children across San Diego County by partnering with additional schools and increasing weekly distributions. We aim to grow the number of children served by 25% over the next three years while maintaining our high standards of nutritious food and educational materials.
2. 2.Strengthen organizational capacity by building a more robust volunteer infrastructure, implementing better tracking and reporting systems, and developing sustainable funding streams. This will ensure long-term stability so we can reliably serve children facing food insecurity for years to come.
3. 3.Develop and launch enhanced nutrition education resources and a summer feeding program to address the extended gap when school is not in session. These initiatives will complement our core weekend program and provide year-round support to children and families struggling with food insecurity.
