Mission

Inspired by the vision of the University of Fondwa in Haiti (UNIF), – Haiti’s only rural University - Fondwa USA was organized by U.S. citizens to raise funds to support UNIF, provide technical assistance to UNIF, and to be ambassadors for UNIF and for the development of rural Haiti.

Vision

Our vision is a rural Haiti in which a new generation of educated citizens participate with determination in shaping the future of their communities and country, using the skills they acquire to bring jobs and opportunity to more people.

Goals

1.To provide the resources to ensure that the University of Fondwa can grow and expand its educational offerings to more rural citizens.
2.To facilitate the technical assistance that the university needs to create a new generation of citizens who will participate in the sustainable development of the country through rural communities.
3.To communicate and advocate with allies and supporters the mission, vision, and impact of the University of Fondwa.
