The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Empower community college students to successfully transfer to four-year institutions by providing academic guidance, mentorship, and financial/resource support, ensuring they have equitable access to opportunity and the tools needed to thrive in their continued education while fostering confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging throughout their academic journey.
Goal Two: Expand college access and completion for all participants in our program by providing renewable, multi-year scholarships that relieve financial pressure, support year-to-year persistence, and ensure students have the stability needed to earn degrees while fostering confidence, leadership, and long-term economic mobility.
Goal Three: We will use AI to identify student needs earlier and personalize their academic and financial support. Additionally, by revealing patterns in progress and risk factors, AI will enable our staff to deliver timely, targeted interventions that help low-income students access and persist in college, while giving the team deeper insights to continuously improve the CIR program's quality and outcomes.
