The nonprofit provides evidence of leadership through focusing externally and mobilizing resources for the mission.
In order to feed those who are hungry, house those who are homeless and provide opportunities to those seeking recovery, we partner with like-minded nonprofit agencies in the Trenton/Mercer Continuum of Care, using the Housing First Model, we help individuals gain access to health care, provide behavioral health counseling, and, for those who qualify, help them to enter supportive housing.
Due to the divergent and numerous needs of emergency shelter clients, The Mission has tremendous experience in working collaboratively with community service providers to ensure client success. In addition to The Mission’s collaborative work with the CEASe System, we have regularly scheduled outreach and client meetings: Anchor House, Arm in Arm, Capital Health, Catholic Charities, Henry J. Austin Health Center, HomeFront, Mercer County Board of Social Services, Oaks Integrated Care, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Trenton Health Team, and WomenSpace.
