    Founded in 1922, United Way of Northern New Jersey's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. We are dedicated to building a stronger community by uniting individuals and institutions to create long-term sustainable solutions to issues that affect us all. The focus of our organization is to foster community involvement, convene collaborative efforts to resolve community problems, and make available the services most needed in Northern New Jersey. Our programs, initiatives and collaborations focus on the following action areas: children; self-sufficiency; seniors and people with disabilities; and healthcare.
