Mission

The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, serving Monmouth and Greater Middlesex counties, brings together people, partners, and resources to fill pressing needs in Jewish life locally and worldwide. We care for the vulnerable, inspire the next generation to embrace Jewish life, forge strong connections with Israel and overseas, and enhance access to a vibrant community.

The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey wants to expand ways we meet critical needs facing our Jewish community.

Goals

1.Caring for those who are vulnerable. We have secured matching funds from foundations to aid local Holocaust survivors and have received funding for kosher meals on wheels.
2.Investing in youth for a strong Jewish future. The Jewish Federation supports teen Jewish identity and education through immersive peer travel, Jewish summer camp and Special Needs Camp Scholarships.
3.Enhancing security to protect the Jewish community. Due to Federation advocacy, NJ's FY24 budget includes Nonprofit Security grants of $7 million and formed Jewish Security Alliance of NY/NJ.
