Vision

To ensure equitable access to quality out-of-school programs for children and teens of Paterson and Passaic.

Goals

1. 1.Ensure Equitable Access to Childcare Programs: -Develop plan to increase scholarships and direct supports to parents to cover cost of attending. -Strengthen advocacy efforts at the local, county, state and national levels.
2. 2.Ensure Equitable Access to College and Career Readiness: -Create appropriate Teen Center spaces within the Clubhouses to maximize access to programs. -Create a Workforce Readiness Program to focus on post-secondary opportunities and provide life skills certifications and career internships. -Distribute minimum $25,000 in scholarships annually to provide equitable access to post-secondary efforts.
3. 3.Expand After School Programming Sites Through School Partnerships: -Formalize agreement with districts for additional sites including grant-funded programs. -Pilot Before-Care at school-based sites.
