Mission

The mission of the Hispanic Multi-Purpose Service Center (HMPSC) is to serve as a beacon of dignity, advocacy, and opportunity for the Hispanic community and all individuals who are poor, disadvantaged, or disenfranchised. Since its founding in 1975, HMPSC has advanced educational progress, cultural awareness, emotional and physical well-being, economic opportunity, and social justice for residents of Paterson, the Greater Paterson and Passaic County area, and beyond.
