JESPY House is a community partner. We work with local businesses and town forces to advocate and teach the community about Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and more importantly, include clients in town-wide efforts. JESPY House is also an affiliate of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and as an affiliate our leadership works with Federation and the other affiliates to share resources and knowledge across organizations throughout the year. Board Members of JESPY House have introduced key legislative representatives at the local and state level to our organization and we continue to cultivate those relationships.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
JESPY House exists for clients' advancement to independent living and we are constantly adapting and changing to their needs. Clients express interest in post-work day walking group, the Athletics department creates a new activity to meet the client's desires. A client wants to have a say in the community, we work with the client and the town to get the client on an official town committee that advises on pedestrian safety. Clients want more theater and arts programs, we worked with a local theater to bring their experts to JESPY and help clients put on a musical. More and more adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities want to join our Day Program, we go out into the community to find additional program space rather than turn away someone who needs JESPY's support. JESPY is evolving all the time because our clients, their needs, and the world we live in is always changing.
