The Arc of Cape May County Inc.

Mission

The Arc of Cape May County, Inc. works to promote and protect the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by actively supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community. To also provide the instruction, care, training and recreation of such persons, and in every way to encourage and insure their physical and mental well-being through the development of their capabilities to their highest potential. The Arc of Cape May County, Inc. is committed to enhancing the quality of life of those individuals and their families through direct services, advocacy, empowerment, education and prevention.

To promote and engage the county of Cape May to embrace and accept individuals and their families living with disabilities to create and sustain an all-inclusive community.

Goals

1.Bring the needed resources to the Arc that will allow us to expand and increase access to our existing services without delay.
2.Continuously assess and prioritize the internal infrastructure to ensure we have the organizational capacity to sustain the organization into the future by investing in leadership, technology and the development of new avenues of resources and funding.
3.Continue to be the leading voice for those who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure that ALL PEOPLE are able to participate in the community in which they reside.
