Mission

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region (RMHC-CR) draws on the compassion of our community to deliver and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families. RMHC-CR operates programs that focus on the critical needs of children, including: Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, Ronald McDonald Family Retreat, RMHC Comfort Cart, and READ for RMHC-CR.

Goals

1.Anticipate further usage of the Kratz Cottage family retreat program. Providing a wider range and scope of demographics outside the capital region limits to include state and out of state families.
2.Empower our staff members with better learning initiatives for specific industry standards and resources within nonprofits by offering professional development and encouraging participation avenues.
3.Expanding the needs of the family room from the one location to two locations and also including the Comfort Cart utilization to assist families in the Emergency Room not yet accepted as inpatient.
