THE PURPOSES OF THIS ORGANIZATION ARE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LIBRARY SERVICES AND FACILITIES; PROVIDE A MEANS FOR DRAWING PUBLIC ATTENTION TO THE SERVICES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE LIBRARY; TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PROGRAM FOR THE EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE LIBRARY'S SERVICES AND RESOURCES.
