Mission

Ocean Alliance’s mission is to protect whales and their ocean environment through research, scientific collaboration, public education, and the arts. Ocean Alliance, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Organization based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and was founded in 1971.

Vision

A world where all whale species and populations have a viable future.

Goals

1.Current methods of protecting whales are proving insufficient. We are developing new programs to help whale researchers around the world collect the data they need to better protect whales.
2.As we look to increase the impact of our work, it is crucial to build a stable, sustainable platform which allows for growth. We are looking to do this by investing in our organization's future.
3.If we achieve Goal 2, it will allow us to achieve Goal 1 with more organizations. At present, we are limited in the number of organizations we can work with, by the size of our organization.
