    Mission

    Luzerne Music Center strives to make world-class music education and life-changing summer camp experience accessible to all, regardless of their families' financial circumstances - each year approximately 65% of LMC students receive scholarships. What sets LMC apart is its unique approach in creating an environment that blends a high-intensity music festival with that of a traditional summer camp allowing for intellectual, social, and emotional growth. In addition to its core programs, LMC is a host of the Luzerne Chamber Music Festival, a well-attended public concert series which strengthens community relationships, brings cultural tourism of a national scale to Lake Luzerne and the Adirondack region, and exposes its summer students to classical music of the highest level.
