Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine

Mission

The mission of Good Shepherd Food Bank is to eliminate hunger in Maine by increasing access to nutritious food for people in need, building strong community partnerships, and mobilizing the public in the fight to end hunger. Good Shepherd Food Bank relies on its relationships with Maine's food industry in order to gather millions of pounds of food each year. Additionally, we secure yet more truckloads for the state of Maine from national food donors through our affiliation with Feeding America.

2.CONNECT: we commit to being a resource bridge between community organizations and members, developing tactics to reduce FI in collaboration with those we serve to build strength and confidence.
3.EMPOWER: All Mainers deserve to experience self-sufficiency and participate in the process of bettering their own lives.
