Vision

People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos creates opportunities for diverse groups of people to find community, commonality, and connection. Our impact is measured by participants' development in four domains: literacy, personal, intersubjective, and intellectual. Our growth is seen as we bring light to dark places in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania - we are truly an organization that goes where it is needed most.

Goals

1. 1.We have more requests for our programs than funds to sustain them - our goal is to achieve more sustainable income to allow us to grow where we are needed most.
2. 2.We want to achieve growth through growing our staff and partner site relationships - including fee for service partners - to allow us to increase our reach to those in need of our services.
3. 3.We have just recently brought on board new board members with deep knowledge of our mission, effective nonprofit practices, and development skills
