Goal One: Construction of the Hospital began in 2003 and the maternity ward opened in 2006. Seven buildings have been constructed since the Hospital's beginnings. Today, the Hospital has 181 beds, performs over 3500 deliveries per year and 200 surgeries per month, all while admitting over 600 patients per month.
Goal Two: Recently completed a physical therapy center for patients with cerbral palsy, orthopedic issues and stroke recovery. We are in the process of installing new optometry equipment as well as glasses production equipment (only 2nd such center in Koutiala). We purchased a debate delivery machine and received 2 donated chairs and lights.
Goal Three: Recently launched a $13.5MM campaign to build and equip an entry building and 80,000 square foot primarily pediatric/obstetric hospital which will include a new imaging center, new laboratory, expanded pharmacy, new birthing facility, expanded neonatal ICU, pediatric ward, pediatric ER, 20 bed nursery, adult ICU and ER, and 7 operating rooms.
