    Mission

    Nearly 1.1 million of our neighbors in New Jersey are food insecure. Meanwhile, enough food for nearly 3 billion meals is wasted each year in our state. Table to Table delivers a solution, rescuing fresh, healthy food and ensuring it gets to those who need it most. Through our work, we keep enough produce, meat and dairy, prepared meals, and other nourishing food for over 20 million meals each year out of landfills, and deliver it - for free - to partner agencies who support children and families, seniors, veterans, people experiencing homelessness, and others who struggle to put food on the table. Since its inception in 1999, Table to Table has rescued enough food to provide over 200,000,000 healthy meals. That equates to 109,122 tons of food kept out of landfills, and millions of our neighbors receiving free, nutritious food they couldn't otherwise afford. In the process, we've saved over 73,000 tons of CO2eq from impacting climate change.
