Goal One: Engage: Providing academic support, career readiness and enrichment programming to over 12,000 students throughout Greater Philadelphia via STEAM and social emotional learning.

Goal Two: Re-Engage: Focus on experiential, on-the-job training, shadowing and career exploration.

Goal Three: Research & Development: Research and develop new programming based on field results.

EW has invested in its "EducationWorks 3.0" business development plan to increase its leadership in OST and workforce development programming locally, regionally and nationally. This includes an investment in an "opportunity app", a substantial project recently approved by the EW Board of Trustees. In addition, EW is currently involved in Cohort 2 of The Bridgespan Group's "Learning for Impact", building on EW's K-12 and workforce development strategy and focusing on a comprehensive data project to combine all resources to better inform our growth in programming, leadership, and future donors and prospects.

In response to the unique pandemic-related challenges, EW is continually committed to sustaining learning by with the use of online tools to continue to deliver high-quality, interactive content and remain connected to students and families. EW’s dedication to providing OST programming ensures that students throughout the K-12 continuum continue to be exposed to a wide variety of high-interest, hands-on, career and STEAM-focused learning experiences, despite the inability to meet in-person during the pandemic. While the COVID-19 environment has certainly forced many organizations to quickly learn and adapt to the process of online programming, our strategic business plan – which emphasizes an investment in virtual leaning across every domain – ensured that we were well-prepared to address our students’ and young adults' needs with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
