Our vision is to foster a unique resident life experience that supports residents, patients and caregivers, building the bridge between community and care. Friends helps create the aging experience we all deserve—rich in dignity, connection, and joy. We believe that care is about more than just meeting basic needs. It's about fostering a life full of dignity and meaningful connections. As the charitable organization supporting The Nathaniel Witherell, we are dedicated to improving the well-being of every resident.

Goals

1. 1.The leadership and staff of Friends of Nathaniel Witherell are committed to working in partnership with all stakeholders to meet changing and increased quality of life needs for long-term residents and short-term patients. We are working to increase our fundraising activities with a new fiscal year fundraising plan that will lead to increased funding and mission investments year over year.
2. 2.Friends of Nathaniel Witherell has created a new Garden Gate Fund for board designated funding and donations from supporters that will address new and urgent facilities projects that directly impact quality-of-life, such as the beautification and restoration of the rose garden and other communal spaces used for programs and resident enjoyment.
