    Mission

    Sunshine Foundation answers the dreams of children, ages three through eighteen, who have severe or profound physical/developmental/intellectual challenges or trauma from physical/sexual abuse, and whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child's illness may cause. We answer dreams of children from all 50 states that may not qualify for other national wish-granting organizations because they have a chronic, life long, serious illness or condition rather than a life-threatening or critical diagnosis. Sunshine Foundation has brought comfort, optimism, and joy into the lives of more than 42,000 children since 1976.
